The PC18CSL’s heavy-duty motor performs at 4,000 RPMs, making quick work of all your cuts. The tool features ball bearing construction as well as an electric brake that stops the motor instantaneously when the trigger switch is released. The saw’s spindle lock makes blade changes safe and easy.
Smart Features Help Get the Job Done Faster
The PC18CSL offers several smart, indispensable features that help professionals work more quickly and efficiently. An integrated laser guide shows the cut path on any surface while also allowing for improved accuracy on long rip cuts. Another smart feature is the tool’s depth-of-cut adjustment gauge that helps in cutting plywood and other shallow materials, maximizing the number of cuts available per battery charge.
Using a 6-1/2-inch, 18-tooth blade lets users cut two-inch lumber at a 45-degree bevel. For difficult cuts, the unit’s shoe can bevel up to 50 degrees and provide a clear line of sight. Other adjustments to the bevel allow for a variety of applications and uses.
Convenient Cordless Operation
Thanks to the cordless design, you won’t have to worry about tripping on cords, tangling them up, or cutting them by accident. Instead, you can concentrate on getting the job done safely and efficiently. As part of the Porter-Cable Tradesman cordless line of tools, the PC18FL flashlight uses an 18-volt battery that can be used interchangeably between other tools in the line.
