charging circuit went out on my honda riding mower, the part i need is discontinued so i was kinda stuck as to how i was supposed to keep the battery charged. well i found this little solar panel, got the alligator clip adapter and hooked it to my battery. has been on the mower for about a month now and so far it is keeping the battery charged. i did put a bead of silicon around the edge of the panel and the blue plastic (recommended in the owners manual) so far it seems to make it water proof. time will tell, but so far i’m very pleased with it. i hook it up and leave it hooked up till i need to use the mower again. seems to be doing fine,
4 months later, still working great. seems to be maintaining it’s water tightness. and doing a great job at keeping my battery up.

This unit recharges the batteries just fine, but the plug gets quite hot doing it. It is the same high quality as the AC unit that came with my Bosch tool set.

AFTER MY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH MILWAUKEE’S NI-CAD BATTIERIES(JUNK,JUNK,JUNK), I SWORE I WOULD NEVER BUT ANOTHER MILWAUKEE PRODUCT. THE 18V DRILL I BOUGHT HAD VERY LITTLE USE AND IT WAS GOING TO BE SOLD AS SOON AS I COULD FIND A BUYER WILLING TO PAY MORE THAN YARD SALE PRICE. THEN I CAME ACROSS THE AD FOR THE LITHIUM BATTERIES AND CHARGER AT A FANTASIC PRICE. IT WAS CHEAPER FOR TWO BATTERIES AND CHARGER THAN THE PRICE OF ONE BATTERY LOCALLY. I’VE BEEN WELL SATISFIED WITH OTHER PURCHASES FROM AMAZON SO I GAVE IT A SHOT.SO FAR THEY HAVE PERFORMED EXTREMELY WELL AND I’M GLAD I KEPT THE DRILL. I STILL WILL NOT BUY ANOYHER MILWAUKEE PRODUCT.
